Guest mattski Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 Hi, I have configured CubeCart's 3.0.3 email settings as per my Outlook settings and have tried sending emails to an account that I know works but am not receiving anything. The configuration is as follows: Email Address: a valid working address Method: SMTP SMTP host: a valid smtp server which requires authentication Port: 25 Use Authentication: Yes SMTP Username: my valid account username SMTP Password: my valid password This account works fine, I use it every day. I have tried sending mails from the Customers->Email Customers->Send Mail dialogue and upon sending the mail it says that it sent it okay. Turns out my email provider would only accept emails to go through this account IF... the Email Address MATCHES the SMTP Username: I was trying to send emails from Sales@....... to an account called shop@......
