Guest tbladecki Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 Well you could do it acouple of ways.... 1) Make the qty to add to basket a dropdown and limit it to 8, which would would but would allow them to reopen the item and do it again. 2) Insert some code in the product/add to cart (or wherever) it would need to go to not allow one to have over XX number of items in the basket. Similar to the way that CC reduces the number of items in your basket if there is not enoght "stock" to cover it. Just a couple of thoughts...... How to implement, well that is a whole different story, maybe somone has some input on how to do it. I could but it may take me a while. Guest Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 Like Tom said, you could use options of 1-8 tickets, but nothing would prevent somebody from 3 x 8 in their cart or some such thing. Sounds like what you need is a custom mod. I'd have some other suggestions for selling tickets if you'd like to e-mail and discuss it.
