Guest Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Hello, I'm having problems with the currency exchange rates on the board, they aren't accurate at all. I am running 3.0.4 using the Killer style (templates modified a bit on the storefront to add a few columns on the sides) but other than that nothing has been modified. I have a product listed for $6 USD When I change currencies on the store front, it lists the prices as: Euro 7.20 British Pounds 10.56 AUD 4.56 However, if I check the exchange rate for $6 manually (I used Yahoo Finance Currency Covertor http://finance.yahoo.com/currency ) I get the following amounts: Euro 5.02 British Pound 3.41 AUD 7.85 Why is there such a difference? Guest Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 You have to ensure the exchange rates are set correctly in the "Currencies" setup of the admin panel. Non-default currencies MUST be relative to the default currency. I.e. if your default currency is USD, then... USD = 1.00000 AUD = 1.31020 * GBP = 0.56902 * *accurate as at 4/10/05 from xe.com/ucc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
