Order total error

Hi All,

Hopefully I will be able to help someone out on the forum but for now...help!

Basically what is happening is:

Shopper adds several items to cart

Shopper views their cart

Shopper clicks on the button to delete an item(AT Step 4 only), but doesn't click "update"

Shopper proceeds to payment gateway

The item is removed from the total order cost but not the order sheet in the Admin

(Shopper pays less but Admin still sees the items on the order sheet.)

Obviously not to good for business!

I have replicated this on both Mac and PC (explorer+firefox) both with the same issue and attached a screen shot of the admin with 2 different orders...

Hi again all,

I have found what I believe to be the same issue listed in a bug report.

The bug is marked as critical and hopefully a fix is on the way.

My concern is that if I am right (quite possible I am not =)

this is a potential exploit and could result in financial loss for the merchant.

My post above was slipping down the posts quite rapidly and I didn't just want to BUMP ....

I would like to know if anyone can also recreate this error?

Yes, I am having the same problem. Brooky said he would try to have a look at it again, as he thought the problem had been solved with version 3.0.4.

For now, I am just hoping against hope that customer don't remove items at the fourth step, and I am checking the totals in admin.

I hope it is fixed soon though, as like you said, it could really work out wrong!
