Changing default text on index.php

Hello,

I have quite a problem; I have installed CubeCart from Frantastico off of cPanel on my hosting server.

I have edited many settings etc, and every seemed to be going well.

Until I decided it was time to update:

"Welcome to CubeCart

Congratulations. You have successfully installed CubeCart.

This message can be edited using the Rich HTML Text Editor and you can add vibrant content to help sell your products.

Please remember that there is a license fee to pay to remove or edit our copyright notices."

I have used the Homepage tool from the admin panel, and when I click update. The page refreshes and everything I have changed in the text box, in fact the title box as well returns back to the default installation text.

So nothing is saving on that page…

If anyone can help it'll be much appreciated.

Check the permissions for the file. You should change it to 777 make the changes and then turn back to a more secure setting 644

The home page is contained in the file /lanuage/en/home.inc.php which is requested from admin/docs/home.php

Go down to the left of the Admin section to Documents/Home Page. You can edit and add pages from there.

Hello thank you ever so much, it's worked fine changing the file attributes to 777 on the file /lanuage/en/home.inc.php

dont forget to change them back to 0644 when ur finished editing :w00t:
