Guest rob-e Posted October 12, 2005 Share Posted October 12, 2005 Hello, I thought a new one maybe now it is working....i managed to install the whole shop so i was happy that it worked. But when i added a product the price is not what i gave in. I add a product with the price of € 100,- In the webshop the price is €145.16 So maybe i've done something wrong. I have the settings at Include tax in prices? NO Still it addes 45,16 at the price !! How to get rid of this problem anyone? What shipping have you defined? Did you define by weight and this is where the extra value is coming from? Did you apply a tax for any particular state/area? See the taxes in the admin section. Now installing and hoping everything's working. for all you people who have problems with upgrading.....why upgrade if it is working correctly. I have first run a test on my freewebspace server. You can get some space to test your webshop first. I also give you a mysql database. The service is free because i have been setting up a sever myself. I set up this server because i had problems with the last webshop and now I have already people who sign up for my free service. CHOOSE YOUR BASE CURRENCY (THE ONE YOU WISH TO USE YOURSELF) SET THIS TO 1.0 SET ALL THIS OTHER CURRENCY OPTIONS IN RELATION TO THIS. XE.COM HAS A GOOD CURRENCY CONVERTER (LOOK AT THE TOP OF ITS PAGE) HOPW THIS WORKS, IT DID FOR ME (DOLLAR IS THE DEFAULT AND SET TO 1 - SO ALL OTHER CURRENCIES ARE WORKED OUT AROUND THAT).
