Guest vrakas
Hi there, how can i achive a full system backup and then restore it without loosing any data etc. I have tryed with cPanel backup and did full backup, database backup and all backups available and were succesfull. When i delete the account (on purpose) and create it, i then use the restore with all the above methods, one by one and i get SQL errors. Any help with the above procedure or any other kind of procedure is welcome. Thanks in advance :)
roban
If you changed anything when you created a new database, ie. the database name, you'll have a problem when you upload your sql file. Did you re-install CC first before uploading your backup?
Guest estelle
I use phpMyAdmin to export and import my database (or just a selection of tables) all the time. Works great.

roban
When you say you 'deleted the account' what do you mean exactly?
Guest vrakas
I delete the account example.com from my server and create it again. Then i restore the whole site. Everything is back in the folders but the sql error appears.
roban
If that's the case vrakas, you have to create a new database (with the original database name) and re-install CC, upload your images and replace any modded files. You can then re-populate your new database with your backup. Just make sure your includes/global.inc has the correct paths.
