Admin control pannel problems

When I enter the admin control pannel, the page which loads into the bottom section of the page says page unavailable.

Also when I look at "Server info" I get this error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/crossro4/public_html/cubecart/admin/misc/serverInfo.php on line 40

Hi travnape,

Is this a new install? I think you might be missing an includes file or two. Open your includes folder in the directory and check to be sure there are 6files and a folder.

I must have some damaged files somewhere but all the files in the includes folder are there and ok, but I still have the problem

I have 8 files and 2 folders, using 3.0.5:

boxes (folder)

content (folder)

currencyVars.inc.php

functions.inc.php

global.inc.php

global.inc.php.bak

ini.inc.php

orderSuccess.inc.php

session.inc.php

sslSwitch.inc.php

I followed the upgrade instructions. Are there files here i don't need ?

Hi Skekum,

Have you got it working? When in doubt, check the simple things first.

- Be sure you've deleted the install folder

- Be sure befire/after install to clear your browser cookies and temp files.

- Check error logs for possible information.

Usually, if none of the above remedies the install, then there was a problem uploading. I suggest uploading folder by folder opposed to entire directory of folders at once.
