Due to one of the messages, I attempted to get into phpmyadmin to try to follow the instrux to fix the UPS problem. When I did, there was apparently some password conflict and it wouldn't let me in. I've fixed that but now the shop won't come up and neither will the admin area. I get this message:

MySQL Error Occured

1045: Access denied for user: 'williams@localhost' (Using password: YES)

Where do I change the password???

OK, I changed the password and am still getting the message:

MySQL Error Occured

1045: Access denied for user: 'williams@localhost' (Using password: YES)

???

Please help; this is urgent.

Sounds like a problem for your webhosting provider.

Either your database username is wrong, or your database password is wrong, or perhaps the permissions for your database username are wrong.

Hi AnnaSue,

Usually your db has an automatic front extension to the name. The front extension would be the username you login to your host account with, then followed with an underscore like this

yourhostname_dbname. The same goes for the user who is allowed to access write to the db. yourhostname_dbuser. More tahn likely you did this already, but i'll say it anyway. You did 1. apply all permissions to the db user for the db? 2. You did input the front extension into CC admin panel when you set it up?

Good Luck :P
