Add link to Logo on Classic

Sharing what I did, don't know if somebody done it before, I need to have the logo have a link, but since this is a bg you cant just add the link, so I did a blind.gif transparent image covering all the logo and then add the link to it by adding a line to index.tpl under skins/Classic/styleTemplates/global/index.tpl

Under:

<div id="pageSurround">

And over this one:

<div id="topHeader">

I added this:

<div><a href="http://linktomainpage"><img src="http://linktoblind.gif" align="left" border="0"></a><div>
