Guest spudnick1
What are the setting's to use in general section of cc ? My provider told me to use these settings https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/ and https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/shop/ Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/ Absolute SECURE URL to store: https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/shop/ Server SECURE Root Directory: https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/ i have tried all combinations but they don't work, what should i put into each of those 3 ? Thank you in advance spud
Guest aikdo
Server SECURE Root Directory: https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/ that should be your SERVER root path...
Guest spudnick1
Thanks for that what about the other 2 settings ?? Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: Absolute SECURE URL to store:
Guest aikdo
Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: /~pcareus/shop/ Absolute SECURE URL to store: https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/shop/ I think it may be set up like that im not 100% though as i have not set up a shared SSL yet, but my last post it has to be your SERVER root... convict
Only Absolute SECURE URL to store contains protocol name like https. Your Absolute SECURE URL to store is right but without last slash. e.g. https://secure57.securebuyers.com/~pcareus/shop Server SECURE Root Directory is absolute operating system path to your store folder without last slash e.g. /server/path/to/your/secure/shop OR /server/path/to/your/pcareus/public_html/shop Root SECURE Public HTML Folder is a HTTPS path to store with last slash e.g. /~pcareus/shop/

Guest spudnick1
Hey aikdo when i logged into admin it shows up as a secure site with small lock at bottom of page which is right i think, but if i log into normal shop it is not secured until i go to checkout is that correct ?? thanks spud
Guest aikdo
Yes thats correct in version 3 only the important pages are secured unlike v2 where every page was secured... can you post your Compleated SSL config for others as many have had trouble with SharedSSL...
