Guest mrboclaudia Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I just install CubeCart 3.0.8 in my Suse 10 runing Apache2 2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4 and MySQL 4.1.13 After I finish the installation (and remove the install directory) I can access the admin page but not the store. When I tried I get the errors listed below. I check the paths, permisions and files and everyhting seems to be ok so I don't know where else to look. That was the first file I checked. But it looks fine....here are the last 4 lines: $glob['installed'] = '1'; $glob['rootDir'] = '/srv/www/gametech/htdocs/store'; $glob['rootRel'] = '/store/'; $glob['storeURL'] = 'http://192.168.1.101/store'; The admin side works perfectly. For some reason relative paths don't work. For example, in the includes/content/index.inc.php file, which is the first error, Line 38 reads: 38 include("language/".$lang_folder."/home.inc.php"); If I add the full path to this line or I use the $glob['rootDir'] variable it passes this one but then I have the same problem in the next file....it has something to do with relative paths or some initialization I haven't done....but I followed the auto install procedure and everything went well, until I tried to open the store. any ideas? Guest mrboclaudia Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Well, just for the record. I solved my problem and I post it here so other people (newbies like me) can benefit. The problem was the incude_path variable in php.ini (/etc/php5/apache2/php.ini in my installation). It was set to: include_path="/usr/share/php5" so the CubeCart script failed because all the include path are relatives and this variable didn't help much. So I added the store directory, in my case: include_path="/usr/share/php5:/srv/www/htdocs/store" and now everything works fine. Live and learn. I seem to have 2 swedish languages in my jump box for languages and here are the error messages I receive. I could not locate the php.ini like mrboclaudia suggested. Kind of new to V3.
