Guest
I've got a customer with 3329 now. He's added about 2000 in the past couple days via Excel/CSV files. He has a few thousand more to go before launching the store live. Another is preparing to load 11,000+ into his store. We'll see how that goes. :D

Assuming 1 image per product... Will your customer with 11,000+ items have to upload (via CC) each image, or will they have to manually create thumbnails (on their PC) then FTP? Also, does this also mean they will have 11,000+ images in the uploads directory? This does sound like a potential file management problem. Guest
With the mod, you simply feed in the image filename. Then upload the images to the proper directory in CC via FTP. Then PHP Rocket has a free thumbnail creation script on CubeCart.org that will do the thumbs for you. As for directory issues, most all OS's are ok til you get over 32,000 entries in a single directory. If a store is THAT big, they can likely afford some customized programming to allow for several subdirs for the images. :D
