Guest groaningeek Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 hello, I have a problem with the box in which you subscribe to the mailing list. If the user has an email address that is of reasonable length, and she subscribes, the resulting message contains the email address, and because of its length, it changes the size of the box, and also causes the main box on the page to move under the left hand column boxes. The only remedy that I can think of is to not have the email address in the response. Right now the response reads "Thank you, [email protected] has been added to our mailing list." and I was thinking changing the response to read "Thank you, you have been added to our mailing list" so that there are not long strings of characters without a break. If I go into the lang.inc.php file and remove the %s and change the message, I can achieve this. Are there any better solutions to this issue?
