I have been searching through all the 'Tax' related postings in this forum and have still not found an suitable solution to the 'not displaying tax until login' problem. I understand totally why it is only applied to the region the customer is in, but I think there must be another approach to this problem. Somewhere it must be stated as to what the 'Default' area is, as in when a guest visits the site there must be a region associated with them? Well, if there is where is it set within the code - can it be changed, or even better what is it so that I can go in and manually add the standard VAT rate to it so that it is displayed without login!!!
