I'm trying to create a cart to sell dance shoes and wanted to use a drop-down menu to display the different sizes but also be able to add the different QTY per size for inventory purposes.

Thanks-

I am not a moderator, but I though commercial cubecart mod/services links are NOT allowed ?

Besides, I have drop down mod as well. ;)

In the PRODUCT OPTIONS, you can create an option that will create the drop down menu. Just call it QTY. The buyer will see 2 drop down menus: SIZE and QTY. Both of these options will have to be created by you with, for ex - SIZE = 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc and QTY = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

Now...I do not know how this will function in real live store. You can set the available inventory qty in your admin panel but I dont know if it will correctly update the sales. I have seen posting here that says it is a problem...but, thats a different topic.

But you CAN create any number of drop down menus without any modification by going to the CATALOG>PRODUCT OPTIONS.

I hope this helps.

That is true, and though a newbie may give out store info without following the rules closely, someon like Andi should definitely not do this - though I appreciate the vote of confidence, Andi :w00t:

Brooky clearly asked in several places that this sort of help should be given in PM's not forum posts, so that the line of commercialism between .com and .org not be blurred.

Sorry gwizard :w00t: mental note added :)

I think i must have been interpreting the rules differently B) Is it ok for me to point out that members have things available and suggest that people PM such members?

This is all a bit confusing and may take a while to get used to, especially when you get moderators giving links in exactly this manner.

1. You cannot promote individuals mods. But say they may find the answer at .org. It is up to the individual you are thinking of to produce a good mod that is clear and gained respect at .org for them to find it. (If you see what I mean)

Aren't the moderators supposed to at least set an example to the rest of us to know what we should and shouldn't be doing?

I think it's a bit unfair to come down on Ansuk like this.

What exactly do I write in the attributes box as when I am putting in the bra sizes that I wish to list as a drop down it just displays as one box with all the sizes thus not enabling me to select the size I want?
