Guest Alorwebdesign
Before I go in and experiment a little, I want to save a copy of my site the way it is now, in case things don't go as planned! Does anyone know exactly how I need to go about doing this? Thanks! Lori

Guest groovejuice
You should back up your database first (there is an excellent tutorial in the pinned posts) and then you can use your FTP client to download the entire store to your workstation. I use either Filezilla, or the ftp service in Dreamweaver.
Guest Alorwebdesign
If its just the design you are worried about then all you need to backup / download is your skin. To do that just download the skin folder relating to it Yes, that is what my convern is- the design. Do I just choose the skin through my ftp mgr. and choose a download destination on my c drive? Thanks, Lori
