Guest Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 Hello. I think CC is great. Defintely prefer it over OSCommerce and other carts. I have a local business and I only do delivery and not shipping. My problem is that I would like to add a "Town" or "Post Code" module under the store configuration in addition to the County/Zone section. I understand that I need to change the geo.php and other php/tpl files, but I'm no good at programming and I was wondering if someone let me know exactly what I need/could change so I don't mess up the scripts. I already created a "Town" database for the phpAdmin and I would like it to link to the Admin and the customer registration (drop down town menu - just like the country menu). Thank you in advance! I figured it's easier to just plainly edit directly onto phpAdmin instead of trying to add a module in the Admin pages. i added a drop down for the city and the state (US) under cart.tpl and modified the configurations in the cart.inc.php - just in case anyone wants to know. this way, people who have local businesses don't have to worry about shipping/ delivery from out of town or out of state because customers can only pick from the particular cities/states that i include in the drop down menus. i hope this helps someone out there :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
