home page a mess in MS/IE but OK in FF - why?

Hi Joe,

The problem is caused by your keywords meta tag. You have entered Nat "King" Cole as a string of keywords. Unfortunately, you cannot use double quotes there, since the whole string of keywords is enclosed in double quotes . . . when the browser sees the first double quote before King, it assumes it has encountered the end of the keywords string.

Change this to Nat 'King' Cole and see if your problem is solved.

--------------

Interesting note: Why would this make such a gigantic difference in the appearance? Because it makes IE unable to find the stylesheet for your site.

Well, for a self-described "Fuddle Headed Old Man" you do all right.

That was a great catch.

BTW, those names are in the kewords because each of them is a world class jazz pianist. Some are John's idols and others John studied with.

Thanks!
