Guest CougarGB
I am using CubeCart Version: 3.0.10 and yes I have done a search and checked the advice, namely ... In General Settings "Locale" says British Pounds In Currencies I have tried to add the pound sign (£) but nothing happens! I can add GBP both to the left and right, but would prefer the sign. As this is my first post may I say how impressed I am with CubeCart and all the support documentation. It is also nice to see how many of the forum members provide free mods, very refreshing. Hi, Welcome to Cubecart. To show the £ sign for your prices: Go to Store Config. Currencies. You should have a line which says Code, Name, Value etc. There is a line which allows you to put a symbol left, this is where you need to put in your pound sign. You alter this by clicking on edit and putting in the £ sign. You can also set the decimal places here to. Any problems drop me a line. Guest CougarGB
Yes as I said, I have already tried this and the only character that stays in either left or right is GBP not the pound sign £
Guest CougarGB
Bump If I enter the pound sign £ directly into the cubecart_currencies table, it looks OK but when I check my site I have an A in front of the £ (A£) If I then go to Currencies from Admin and remove the A the £ goes as well! Am I the only UK user that has this problem?

Am I the only UK user that has this problem? No, I'm getting this problem as well. You can get around it by editing the database directly, and putting £ for the symbol. This makes it all work for the website, but then you get £ showing on the e-mails to the customer rather than a proper pound sign. Anyone got any ideas? Hi, In the currencies setting in control panel how many currencies have you got. Have you just got 1 for GBR or have you got all the default currencies? If you set up another currency, say GB2 and put in the £ sign, update, make sure it is enabled and then go to your home page does this make any difference. If you then change currencies on your home page to GB2 what shows up for your prices. Jon

Guest Euan
I had the same problem but just went into currencies and edited the symbol to £ and it's all been fine since.
Guest CougarGB
It's a mystery! It's not a real problem, just a cosmetic thing really. Maybe it will come right with the upgrade.
