Guest totallybaz
Upgrading from 3.0.5 to 3.0.10 in a few minutes time Bricking myself that something will go wrong and I'll lose my store. I can't back my site up properly as everytime I try to pull the folder from my FTP it goes about 1/3 of the way and says "the connection with the server was reset". So, I've decided to pull down the files and folders I've modded and chuck them back in after the upgrade. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how I get on with the upgrade afterwards --Baz--
Guest EverythingWeb
Have you considered using the backup facility in your hosting control panel for absoulute certainty? I would never perform an upgrade without some form of full & proper backup.
Guest totallybaz
Hey, Thanks for the reply. I have a pretty decent backup now on my machine. Used CPanel to upgrade my store to 3.0.10 and it said completed but it doesn't seem to have worked. Some things have been reset to original settings but it still shows as 3.0.5 in the admin section. So then I tried to install a totally new store in a new folder but it also shows as 3.0.5... Wierd... Anyone seen this before?
Guest gwizard
version number is in includes/ini.inc.php maybe the auto upgrade didn't update that file.
