Alignment off {Session}

I have searched my 'you know what' off... I cannot find the answer.

You may need a precise eye or experience to already know, but when you log in, the location of the Session Box is just a little higher than when you're logged out. I made a gif to fit behind the log in | register text as a replacement for the sessionBG.gif. However, when you're logged in, it aligns fine, when you're logged out, the text is partly above the gif.

Has anyone seen this or know what I should look at to fix it?

By the way, the gif won't show now because I am waiting until the alignment problem can be solved to actually use it.
