Guest
My client called and said she was trying to update the main copy on her CubeCart homepage. And said everytime she tried, the cart generated an error that read something like "..public_html>store>language>en>home.inc.php write permission denied" So I thought "oh no problem it's just a chmod setting" so I logged into the server and reset that files chmod to 777 and then had her try it. It didn't work. So then I thought maybe the file was corrupted, so I overwrote it with a copy of the file on my local drive. That worked, but now I can't login to the admin area. She seems to be able to, but I can't. Anyone know how I can get this working?
roban
home.inc doesn't have anything to do with your admin log in. What happens when you try to log in. What is the error you are getting. Hvae you tired using her password? More information please!
markscarts
Also, please delete cookies and cache from browser before trying again; if unsuccessful, post more info.
Guest
It must have been a cookie issue on my machine. My client says it's fine on her end. I'm willing to leave well enough alone. As long as that file I overwrote didn't mess anything up, and we can both get logged in. I'm good! Thanks guys Steve
