I have carefully read all the posts and have done the following:

  • implemented what fixes I could (uploading this file PayPalAPI_EC_DPv2.zip per this topic http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....l=order+failed#)
  • Made sure curl was installed
  • contacted paypal to make sure I was signed up for Website Payments Pro and had accepted the billing agreement
  • downloaded the api certificate and uploaded it into the pear directory
  • made sure the api username and password were correct
  • Enabled Paypal Direct in the gateways (PayPal direct is 'Website Payments Pro', correct?)

I will choose the PayPal Direct option on checkout and it will take me to where I can enter my credit card info. Then when I click on 'Go Now', I get the "Sorry, your order failed! You can attempt to purchase your basket contents again below:" The credit card I'm using is my own and I know there is money in there -- why is this still not working?

I'm using Cube Cart version 3.0.14 at http://www.vinografia.com/ and I don't yet have my ssl certificate (but I will when the store is up and running -- is it not working because of this?)

If you want to check out the admin section, its at http://www.vinografia.com/admin/ the username is 'admin', and the password is 'mckenzie'

I will choose the PayPal Direct option on checkout (I've labeled it "Pay by credit card")and it will take me to where I can enter my credit card info. Then when I click on 'Go Now', I get the "Sorry, your order failed! Also, to make sure, Website Payments Pro is called PayPal Direct in CubeCart -- correct?

Hi

I am having the same problems with this. However, when I make a purchase with my own card it now works. BUT, when customers or any other card is used... it does not work. No error message to customer. They think all ok.. no paypal payment comes through but order goes into Cart ok.

I am so far in the middle of a full day of phone and e-mails with paypal.. they are testing at the moment. Has anyone got website payments pro uk working?

Hi! Debug is off and I'm still having the problem, but this is the first I've heard about need to set permission -- what files need new permission, and what do I set them to?

Yes, I did get it to work, and I'm embarrassed to say it wasn't working because I had the wrong api certicate information in the 'Direct Payment' fields. (Talk about a stupid mistake!)
