gospelsinger Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 i am not that good at programming so thats when i ask for help is it necessary to upgrade the 3.0.14 version or is it optional at this time ? and if it needs to be upgraded how do i go about in doing this without hurting any of the files and such not thats already there since i have tons of stuff in the cart already i dont want to lose any of these items by upgrading please if you dont mind letting me know about this thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 According to the official announcement, upgrading from 3.0.14 to .15 is optional - you don't have to do it unless one of the issues that were fixed affects your store. However, using the changelog option to upgrade your store is relatively easy, even with a lot of mods installed. It's really just adding 1 more mod to the mix. If you want to do the upgrade, but really don't want to do it yourself, there are several people who would be willing to do it for you for a small fee. Check over at the .org site for that.
