How do i make Cart go straight to sub cats ??

I have 3 main top Cats 2 of them and the set up ( ie click either top cat tab at top of page or click extra mod link left box gives same results)

what i am after is when a top cat is clicked it then goes to my second cat which then goes to the 3rd cat show all those products relavent in that section.

so:

1= top cat ( say 2006 range)

then

2= 50 products under say 10 sub cats

then

3= click on those cats and then you get to choose from say 5-8 products in that range

I want this still to happen on most the top cats but i want customers to say click on Limited edtions then to jump to a full list ( as in the section 3 customer clicking)
