Your Order Has Failed. May be my path, help please

I am testing my store trying to purchase a digital downloadble page.

I have attempted twice and was returned to the Confirmation Page which stated Your Order has failed.

I'm assuming it's my path to the digital document.

Someone suggested that there is a tutorial for Setting Up Digital Products, at cubeCart.org, but I could not find it.

I created a folder named "digital" in what I believe is the server root path.

I was told on this forum, and by my web host, that the server root path would be

home/username/digital

but in the ACP it says it should be

/usr/local/vhosts/www.domain.com/downloads/download.exe

So, it's a little confusing.

Anyway, in the edit product page, the path I currently have for Product Type: Digital: is:

home/my actual username/digital/the document file name

but my orders have failed. Is this the cause?

Should "home" be actually my domain name?

Or should it be: /usr/local/vhosts/www.mydomainname.com/digital/the document file name

I look forward to getting this right, with your help, thanks
