SSL, Yahoo Hosting NEED HELP!

Well i have been trying to set up an ssl secure shop on my site, but it seems to be a hastle.

1. Yahoo Hosting has this thing the if you need SSL you get it, BUT its shared and to use it you need to put files you want to use under SSL into a subdirectory called 'ssl' (Lower-case). After that you may run your scripts.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding something but when they say to do that i put my whole shopping cart in there and hope everything works.. Not the case.. When i open my shop i am not able to add any items to my shopping cart (using javascript), + i cannot access the admin area. Is it just because of Yahoo hosing or is there something that i have missed.

Keep in mind i have not even turned SSL on yet.. once i do, using editconf.php i get absolute bizzare things. my urls a duplicated and more... But that i can probably figure out.

If anyone can lead me toward the right direction in how to use my site in SSL form on yahoo hosting that would be great.
