Guest
The past day or two I've spent many hours wandering the halls of this forum looking for a clue -by- four to setting up SSL. All to no avail. I thought I was on to something when I found mention of a file called "editconf.php" ... but I searched my web site for about an hour before looking here: https://www.cubecart.com/site/helpdesk/inde...cid=0&nav=0 (It's in the page as "CubeCart_Config_Tool_1.0.zip") This is so great I'm thinking of getting a second copy! ;-) But that was just the cake ... here's the icing: https://www.cubecart.com/site/helpdesk/inde...4&nav=0,2,4 This is a well-written help desk article. I simply followed the bouncing ball (on bluehost.com) and it 'just worked'. For me, on version 3.0.15, the magic trick looks like: $config['storeURL_SSL'] https://secure.bluehost.com/~username/cube and $config['rootDir_SSL'] /~username/cube/ Whew! Now, with SOME of my merchandise loaded, I'm off to edit my home page and delete OSCommerce forever. Cube cart is a great program and it's help desk people are among the best in the business. I think I'm ready to go live as soon as I get my payment modules squared away. BTW ... is there a checklist anywhere of what needs to be accomplished before going live?
