Guest obi1 Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 Hi all, I'm not much of a poster, more along the lines of a "searcher" I've searched, read, and found a lot of useful reads, but still a bit out of the loop as to how HOW I could create a fully functional skin, properly working, etc... I'm trying to make it SOMEWHAT resemble our main website, but a la suicide girls(' shopping cart) where all the items are laid out on the front, etc.. and looking like it's part of the website's design, not a seperate thing. anyone have any tips, tricks, things I should look for, codes, etc... ALSO! the update kinda knocked out a lot of the mods I had made already, now i'm kinda starting from scratch which is OK since it's making me want to recreate something really good for the site and ppl that buy our merchandise. Well in other news, I've managed to make a two column layout ( http://www.starlighttattoo.com/store ) I hope I can link you guys without getting in trouble. made the thumbnails smaller (still filling it up with all the stuff we make and all) but it's c'ming along to what we want... any suggestions? we'd like to also add the "add to cart" button under the thumbnails... read a few things here and there but wasn't sure WHAT to do... any suggestions? I now that i have to screw around with the file/s in the include folder, then go back to my template file/s and make sure they work properly but with the luck i have, NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK...
