I am in the process of setting up a CubeCart site for my new business. I decided to bank with HSBC purely because there was a build in API interface in CC, and it seemed logical to do all ones banking in the same place. So, now we have everything set up and ready to go, HSBC have turned round and said they want £500 PER MONTH for the API interface but only £20 for CPI. WTF is that about? Is that normal? Anyone else using HSBC API being charged that? Secondly if that is normal, how hard is it going to be to use CPI? Failing that, should I ditch HSBC and go Worldpay or something else (UK Store)?
