Guest shieldbugs Posted July 19, 2007 Share Posted July 19, 2007 I'm getting an install error at stage 4: MySQL Error Occured 1251: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client .. and this is the reply from the web hosting company: To fix this problem you would need to login to PHPmyadmin within your website. Within here you would need to change the old set password function within the SQL tab. Unfortunately we cannot tell you exactly how to do that as the code would need to be provided by CubeCart. Once the old passwod function has been updated, you will then be able to proceed with the installation of your shopping cart software. Any ideas please?
