Moving index.php

I wasn't using my brain when I uploaded CubeCart, and I uploaded it to a folder named /CubeCart/. So I got the program installed and working just fine, but my customers have to use www.xxx.com/CubeCart/ to access it. I want them to be able to just use www.xxx.com.

I know I can't just move the index.php file out of the folder, but I just can't remember what I can do to fix it :ninja:

Do I have to change all the links on that page to include /CubeCart/

Help!

Amanda

This is very FAQ - please search the forums for info.

The basics are to move all files/directories to the root of the site. This may mean ftping back to your pc, then re-sending... If you have shell access, or a decent file manager on a control panel (the new cPanel file manager is pretty nice), you may just be able to it all on the server.

Then, edit /includes/global.inc.php, and remove the /CubeCart/ folder reference.

Obviously, back everything up, and remember make /images/uploads and /images/uploads/thumbs writable.

The many previous forum posts will have much more info.
