Guest bcwh
Hi all, I just updated my website design, and silly me I change the size of the thumbnails in the coding, now the images are all mess up. I know when you edit the products it resize the thumbnail images when you save, but it there a faster option? As updating 700+ products is going to take a long time Thanks Guys! :)
Guest webicon
Can you not 'batch resize' them offline? Depending on which graphics editor you are using - this may be the best option... I know both Photoshop, Fireworks and Paint Shop Pro all have a batch image process - you point at the large image folder, give the settings to save thumbs out (including adding 'thumb_' as a prefix), and save to a different folder. Then you should be able to upload to the thumbs folder on server.
vokf
Other options are "IfranView" which can do batch resize (and file conversion). However, I would advise looking for the free, and excellent "fix thumbs" mod on cubecartforums.org It can do 100 images in one pass, so only a few clicks- and once installed much quicker than FTP>Resize/Rename>FTP Jason
