Ssl Vs. Non-ssl Urls

I've configured my site to use a shared SSL setup. It works great. But links to the homepage from anywhere in the checkout end up being SSL/username/storedir/ - I want to force them to be non-SSL links.

If I use $GLOBALS['storeURL'] they end up being SSL. Is there some config that defines the non-ssl store URL? Surely there must be.

Many thanks.

Please find this in includes/ini.inc.php at the end of file:

// Pages that should be server under SSL (if enabled)

$sslPages = array("unsubscribe" => 1,"login" => 1,"logout" => 1,"forgotPass" => 1,"account" => 1,"profile" => 1,"changePass" => 1,"newsletter" => 1,"cart" => 1,"step1" => 1,"step2" => 1,"step3" => 1,"step4" => 1,"step5" => 1,"reg" => 1,"viewOrders" => 1,"viewOrder" => 1,"confirmed" => 1);
