Guest Brivtech
How do I show a URL as text, without it being automatically turned into a hyperlink? I'm trying to generate an email that shows an email address and a website address, but I don't want these to be hyperlinkable (In other words, I don't want people being able to click on them to open up the link). I just can't figure out how I have done this in the past. I'm sure it's so simple, but I just can't get that information out of my head (or google for that matter!). Help someone please before I go crazy.
vokf
Hi Brivtech, I don't think this is anything you can do in normal text only emails. The hyperlinking is done at the client end (webmail/email client etc) If you look at the source to an email, its normally plain text (ie no <a href> etc) If you are using HTML email, then you can do it, just don't add the <a href...> Jason
Guest Brivtech
Perhaps that's why I can't figure it out then. Thanks for the clarification. ;)
