Guest Posted January 21, 2008 Share Posted January 21, 2008 Best thing to do is take a look at the features of both and see what you need. 4 has a lot of great new features, but to me it's biggest draw back is no module for mals-e.com so if you want to manually process credit cards, you have to have ssl installed. Most of the features 4 has can be added to 3 as mods, though a lot of them are commercial (ie you have to pay for them) mods, so I would compare the prices - if everything you need you would have to pay for mods for and it equals or exceeds the cost of 4, I would just go for 4.
