Guest jared9985
Downloaded Zend Optimizer for OSX from the zend website. Installed it via the install.sh installer. Followed all the directions. So it is installed but PHP doesn't think so. Pulling up the phpinfo() all it shows is "This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine: Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright © 1998-2007 Zend Technologies".... nothing about the optizer. However it loaded the correct php.ini located at '/usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini'... which has the zend lines at the very end. I have no idea why Zend Opt. isn't loaded up. Their documentation blows. Their troubleshooting section is worthless. I've spent the past 2 hours googling without sucess. Any ideas? I'm about to lose it. (and yes ive restarted the server abut 3987438957345987 different times) HELP! cheers and thanks :P
Guest jared9985
This is what my php.ini has at the bottom... [Zend] zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3.3.0 zend_optimizer.version=3.3.0a zend_extension=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager.so yet it still doesn't load :P

Guest
no similar issues eh? exactly the same issues - no answer. I'm about to totally freak out. After I talked my client to finally upgrade to the new CC I can't even work with it.
Guest Brivtech
Quite simply, if in doubt, use ioncube. My servers have Zend, but they won't work with CC. Ioncube provides the fix! If you're not sure which ioncube loader to use, contact your hosting company. I know I know, seems illogical, but servers are strange animals, each a little different to the next.
