Add to cart not viewing correctly

I am trying to use ver 3.0.17. considering buying a license if I can get it to work. I am using the default skin

When I click on the add to basket button for the test product it gives me a Internet Explore cannot display this page. Then when I click the back button I see the basket is updated. This only happens in internet explorer. I have tried deleting my cookies and still get the same problem. Please help

Edit: So it is an issue with internet explorer. Cuz it does the same thing in the demo on the cubecart website.

Are there any known issues?
