Restrict Purchases

Hi all,

Strange request I know, but how can I make it so that a customer can only purchase one product. That is to say that should a customer want to purchase widget abc they access the product, complete any product options available then add it to the basket, however they can only add one of the widgets to the basket and not select a multiple of it.

The can come back and order it again but only one at a time.

Is this possible?

I know its beyond my capabilities but wondered if its possible or if there is already a mod which does this.

Yes, you can force the order quantity in the form that handles ordering - viewCat.tpl, viewProd.tpl, and also in the basket to prevent people changing the quantity.
