Guest ExecPro
I have realized that the problems that I have been faced with are mostly because of updates to MySQL that don't seem to be reflected in the new version. 1. New DOUBLE field does not allow '' (Empty String) as an update/insert. 2. TEXT/BLOB fields do not allow a default value. 3. There are some fields in certain tables set to NOT ALLOW NULLS that causes errors, a good example is when trying to update Categories - it now gives an error. I believe this is something that will affect most installs with the new version of MySQL and if that is the case, it should be made known to everyone. I hope this has not already been discovered since it would have saved me a lot of time if I had known already!
