Guest creftor Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 Hi there, I am reskinning my site and would like to add a new box possibly under the sale items, with rotating linked images to my ebay store, other parts of the shop and maybe even some ads for other people but I'm a little stuck.... I tried to be clever (I have basic html knowledge) and did the following but it hasn't worked hehe: 1. went into ...global/index.tpl and added a new line under {SALE_ITEMS} and entered {ADVERTS} still within the div tags 2. I then created (well tbh did 'save as' an existing .tpl file in the boxes folder) an adverts.tpl file in the boxes folder and replaced the main code with this javascript offered on another post replacing the links and image links with what I wanted. 3. uploaded the new file and index.tpl 4. nothing happened!! I would prefer to have a new box in one of the side columns rather than the usual banner ads at the top or bottom of the page. Any advice please?
