Guest
Hi! I've been trying to install the trial version of CubeCart on to my webspace for the past few days and have got stuck constantly on the Ioncube Loader part. I'm not quite sure what the problem is either as its coming up with the error message 'The loading of ionCube encoded files is not currently working correctly on this server.' The dlls are there - in the directories CubeCart suggests they should be - they've been uploaded as binary files, I've used the self-install device and still can't get cubecart to see it. My compatibility test reveals CubeCart 4 Requirements Test Ioncube Loader: Not Available Zend Optimizer: Not Available GD Image Library: Not Available PHP ≥ 4.3.0: 4.4.8 MySQL ≥ 4.1.0:3.23.49 The runtime loader suggests 'Run-time loading should be possible on your system but no suitable Loader was found.' and the PHP loader says PHP Version 4.4.8 Operating System Windows Threaded PHP Yes php.ini file c:\php\php.ini Required Loader ioncube_loader_win_4.4.dll So I'm sorry to say I'm a bit stuck and not sure what to do. I don't know PHP, so am unsure how, why and where to stick the suggested code, all attempts to edit /includes/global.inc.ini have brought up an error in the line number. Any helpful hints would be welcome. Thanks! shepherd
Guest hennaboy
upload a php info page and see what that tells you. also check the ioncube directory uploaded for CC4 make sure the files are in the directory. If not then google ioncube and download the correct ones and upload them

I've uploaded a phpinfo file and this is the output: System Windows NT ENVISAGE246 5.2 build 3790 Build Date Feb 12 2008 05:01:56 Server API CGI/FastCGI Virtual Directory Support enabled Configuration File (php.ini) Path c:\php\php.ini PHP API 20020918 PHP Extension 20020429 Zend Extension 20050606 Debug Build no Zend Memory Manager enabled Thread Safety enabled Registered PHP Streams php, http, ftp, compress.zlib The Ioncube dlls are sitting in the Ioncube folder in CC - and they are the Windows version. I'm very new to PHP (that Phpinfo page was the first I've ever created!) so am stumbling around in the dark. Thanks for your help
