Guest smallmouse
Hi everyone, Everytime I click on a product, from no matter where on the site, I get a blank page saying webpage cannot be found. Has anyone else experienced this? I am not sure how to fix it - any help would be appreciated greatly. Thanks Lisa. Ok, I fixed my own problem - sort of. I turned off the 'use search engine friendly URL' and it now works as normal. I guess this means I cant use search engine friendly urls??? Hope this may help someone else anyway. Guest Brivtech
For the search engine friendly URLs to work, you need to tell your server to perform a few special tricks when it comes to interpreting the URLs into a useable format. This is done using the .htaccess file. There is a sample file included in your configuration settings (which is only visible when you enable the search engine friendly URLs) - I'm guessing you haven't installed it yet. Guest
I have exactly the same problem, it is not only the product pages that have been affected, but also the T & C, About, Privacy pages. I do have the .htaccess file installed. I do need the search engine friendly URL to work as my clients business has quite a bit of competition. Could this issue be a BUG within the php files any suggestions?
Guest Brivtech
What host are you using?
Robsta
The contents of the htaccess file may change over the upgrades, always best to ensure you have it up to date. Also make sure it's named correctly.. '.htaccess' . What is the URL?

Hi Robsta, the hosting company I'm using is 1nd1.co.uk (I've got other stores on the same host, but they are working fine) The url is http://www.sexycostumes4girls.co.uk Also this is a brand new install by the team at cubecart, so I guess that the .htaccess file is correct. Robsta
I guess you could go back to them saying it's not working correctly.
