Using php in the site documents?

Hi I am trying to get sonic_contact php to run in the contact us page as a secure contact form, the page appears to be a part of index.php so php should be active, I have tried using:

<?php

include_once "contact/sonic_contact.php";

?>

But it does not work.

Does anyone know a workaround for this sort of thing??

You need to add it to the PHP control file for the template, details found here.
