In 'coupon management' I have enabled coupon, set discount %, expiration date, allowed user 0 (as suggested) and times used 0. Under 'is gift certificate?' there is a red box. this is not a gift certificate but a coupon. I have tested using the coupon in a purchase and it notes 'coupon not recognized'.
