Guest MasterSites
I have succcesfully upgrade to the latest V4 but after upgrading from 4.3.0 to 4.3.1 I cannt' log in to admin page or reset password. Could any body help? Yes I can help hopefully - As the other reply says "What exactly happens?" - If it keeps on saying "No Administraion Session Found" this could be one of 2 things as far as I know. Solution 1 If you have SSL enabled - You need to go into your database through phpMyadmin - and in the CubeCart_Config table edit the "Config" row and when editing look for the https SSL absolute root path - check that the https absolute SSL Root path (storeURL_SSL) is "https://www.example.com/" or if you have it in a seperate folder e.g. Store folder then check the https absolute SSL root path (storeURL_SSL) is "https://www.example.com/store/" << note that you MUST have an ending "/" you also need a trailing / in the https SSL root relative path - so to prevent confusion both the https SSL Root Relative Path and the https SSL Absolute Root Path need trailing / it appears that in V4.2 you do not need the end / but in CubeCart v4.3 dispite the example in general settings not showing an ending / you do need one at the end of the https root path. Solution 2 The other thing that you could try is changing the password through phpMyadmin - go into phpMyadmin and go to CubeCart_admin_users - inside there find your account under Browse - then edit the row. When in edit delete the alphanumeric value in the password box and replace it with what ever you want e.g. "password" - Then from the drop down box next to the password field you should see "Type" or something like that - from that select MD5. This will convert your password to a secure version. Finally make sure the "salt" field is empty and click save. - this should then allow you to login to your account using the new password you have entered. Thanks Rob
Guest MasterSites
Update on this one....The previous post i posted did solve the error - but then i also run into this same error through something else - So if my above post didnt solve your error then try this: Solutions -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=- Go into your hosting settings - or contact your host and ask them to run PHP on your account as a ISAPI Extension NOT as CGI Application - I change this for my client and bingo error had gone. Hello Bro, I have contacted my web host and they replied that ISAPI would be for Windows servers, I am currently hosted on a Linux based server. I still encounter the "No administration session was found" login issue. Any expert here can help? The funny thing is, previously I can log in at some places and some places cannot. Now is like getting worst and most places I cannot log in. After many tries and I managed to get in, while I navigate to the second page and it will bring me back to the login page. I am getting really frustrated. Have it got anything to do with my ISP? I am really confused with the new version as I do encounter this issue with v3 before. Experts, please help!
