Guest Billy Bob
Hi, Google has indexed some products in our store that no longer exist, because CubeCart doesn't return a 404 when a product isn't found the products won't drop out of googles index. What I want to do is use a Server Error 410 (Gone) to tell google the page no longer exists (but used to) so google can stop indexing it, using a custom error page to fit with the skin i'm using and maybe containing a search box or similar. I'm guessing this is probably a common problem - I can't be the only one with this issue? Any help would be very much appreciated!
