I though to ask everybody on here what set up their have on Search Engine Optimization on General Settings.

Which one do you use in your cubecart 4

Override global meta data with description and keywords only

Combine with global meta data (Recommended)

Disable this feature and use global meta data

It depends on how you write your meta info. If you write all the meta data for each product, then you can replace. However, a lazy approach is to combine as you can have your base keywords then just add the new products.

However, there is a bug in sef_urls.inc.php which combines Title tags regardless of which option you chose. Also, there is a bug in sefMetaTitle that needs to be fixed to pull the default Global Title on pages that don't have one.

Just keep in mind that CubeCart does SEO URLs very poorly. I have had to add my own custom code and htaccess rules just to abide by the basics. SEO is just a hack in CubeCart 4, but you can make it work if you know what you are doing.
