Guest PLMaster Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 I have SEO urls turned on in 4.2.2. I have one product no longer being sold and another that's a good replacement. Instead of putting a link on product one linking to product two, I'd like to just make it so anyone going to product one would automatically be taken to product two (like happens when you change the name of a product but anyone that goes to the old seo friendly url still goes to the right page). I've got this set up with a simple javascript redirect on that page but want something more substantial that will work for people who don't have javascript turned on. Ideas? I know about htaccess redirects but didn't want to touch it until I knew it was safe given CC's seo urls. And if it would work, how to set it up properly so I don't mess something up.
